Natchez Powwow

on MARCH 28-29, 2020

A Production of "Grand Soleil Events"

The Mississippi Department of Archives and History, in response to concern over the spread of corona virus, has made the decision to close the Grand Village of the Natchez Indians through the month of March. As a result we have made the decision to cancel the 2020 Powwow and to hold the next Natchez Powwow on March 27-28, 2021. All of the head staff members who were scheduled for 2020 have agreed to serve those same duties for the 2021 Natchez Powwow. Stay safe and healthy and we shall sing and dance together many more times in the future.
